Wow it’s been a while! Anyone who knows me knows that being busy is how I thrive and that’s definitely been the case during the first month of 2022! 2021 ended a little rough but we are starting off the new year strong and I am so grateful!
With a new year comes new goals. My goals were 2021 were too narrow for me to meet but I gave myself some grace which is so important! This year instead of "read 10 books" I decided to break it down and read a book a month. This is something I did with many of my goals from last year when creating my goals for this year. I have already finished by book for January which was a great first step in meeting my goal of reading more! I also want to craft more and set a goat of 20 crafts. I have already completed two! I have some other goals as well such as increasing my cardio score on my Apple Watch and completing two parts of my National Board Certification. I set a goal to lose 15 lbs last year and unfortunately with my surgery in July I gained weight instead. The grace I gave myself helped me push through and I was able to lose the weight I had gained.
So far in 2022 I have been able to begin my National Board Certification Pre-Candidacy Course, explore a new hike in Sedona with my mom when she visited, attended a Music Festival, showed my friends around Arizona, and went to another NHL game. I already have big plans for February like going to Supercross, another hike in Sedona, and a trip to Florida! My boyfriend is visiting and my aunt is visiting and I couldn't be more excited for more visitors!
Here’s to the new year and continued blessing for everyone as we continue to navigate this thing called life!
